Getting to Scotland

We’re delighted to welcome you to beautiful Scotland! From its rugged highlands and historic castles to its charming villages and vibrant culture, Scotland offers a truly magical experience.

Whether this is your first visit or one of many, we encourage you to explore the local sights, indulge in traditional Scottish fare, and soak in the rich history of the country. We have compiled some information that may be useful in your Scottish adventure below.

Scotland has several major airports that make traveling to the country convenient. Here are the primary ones:

1. Edinburgh Airport (EDI) - Scotland's busiest airport, located just west of the bustling capital: Edinburgh. Offers a wide range of international and domestic flights.

You can see United Airlines flights from the US directly to EDI by clicking here. American Airlines has added flights to Edinburgh from a number of US airports for 2025. Click here to find out more.

2. Glasgow Airport (GLA) - Located west of Glasgow, Scotland's second biggest city after the capital, it serves a mix of international and domestic routes. It is a hub for travelers heading to the west of Scotland.

3. Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) - Situated in the northeast of Scotland, it is ideal for those visiting the Highlands and Aberdeen. While it is known for its connections to the North Sea oil industry, it still offers leisure travel options.

4. Inverness Airport (INV) - A smaller airport serving the northern Highlands and the closest to our venue. It is perfect for travelers to fly in from abroad and fly out the day after the wedding.

Each of these airports has good transport links, including trains, buses, and car rental options to help you get to the venue easily.
